Why environmental education is so important

For centuries our world’s environment has supported not only human life, but a diverse array of life. Mother Nature has taken a lot of abuse, but she can only take so much, before her support runs out. Most of the time, damage to the environment by human kind has been unintentional – ignorance. Education and Literacy are great tools that strengthen awareness amongst individuals. A large percent of people become more passionate about a subject once they have learned about it. Our goal is to help our students and participants find that passion. With a little help from us, our students walk away with a lasting impression about the environment and positive ways they can help conserve it.
